Marvelous Gaddafi’s Private Plane

The forces opposed to Muammar Gaddafi have seized the former Libyan leader’s private plane at Tripoli’s international airport. A look inside the jet shows the scale of luxury that Gaddafi lavished on himself and those close to him.The Airbus A340 plane cost Gaddafi around £73million in 2003. When used as a passenger jet the A340 can carry up to 375 people, but Gaddafi’s plane was definitely not set up for that number.
A look inside Gaddafi’s private plane gives us a glimpse of the lavish lifestyle to which he was accustomed. Here a Libyan rebel fighter takes a break in the leather seats of the plane. The Arabic words read as “Be thankful and we give you more”.
Two more fighters pose for pictures inside Gaddafi’s private A340 plane. The Airbus jet has four engines and its wide body has been fully utilised by Gaddafi.

The first-class cabin of many of the Airbus A380 super-jumbo planes do have beds, but it is unlikely anything will match this area created for Gaddafi.

  1. If you’ve ever been stuck in an endless airport line, missed your connection or had to endure multiple layovers to get to a hard-to-reach destination, then you’ve likely yearned for a better way to travel. Commercial airlines just aren’t always the most efficient way to fly. Your time is valuable and shouldn’t be spent camped out in an airport. For this the best solution available is www.flykavoo.com.
